The Korean pianist visits Prescot
for the first time with a sterling programme of masterworks of
the classical and romantic eras.
The first half will feature
Haydn's Sonata in B Minor, Liszt's Venezia e Napoli,
Scarlatti's Sonata in A Minor and Chopin's Scherzo in
B Flat Minor. After the interval, Young-Choon will present
the highlight of the evening, two of Beethoven's finest sonatas,
Sonata in A Minor ("Pathétique") and the Sonata in A Flat Major.
