Professor Ian Tracey
Professor Ian
Tracey returns to the parish where he began his career as an
organist. Tracey studied the instrument at Liverpool Cathedral,
under Noel Rawsthorne, and went on to become the Cathedral's
Organist and Master of the Choristers, as well as Chorus Master
to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society.
Professor Tracey
has kindly been Patron of the Prescot Festival since its
inauguration in 2005.
This recital is a
unique chance to hear a programme of sacred and secular classics
from one of the world's finest organists.
