Whistle Down the Wind (1961)
A special
screening of the classic 1961 family film starring Hayley Mills
and Alan Bates, and directed by Bryan Forbes. Mills plays the
oldest of a group of children who puzzle over the identity of a
stranger in their father's barn. This touching, often funny and
thought-provoking drama was filmed on location in the tiny
Lancashire village of Downham.
