Duncan Lamont
Actor (1918-1978)
Lamont was a familiar face at Hammer, with roles in seven of the studio's movies, beginning with The Scarlet Blade (1963) and ending with Quatermass and the Pit (1967), in which he found himself possessed by alien forces. In between, he made The Evil of Frankenstein (1964), The Devil-Ship Pirates (1964), The Brigand of Kandahar (1965) and Frankenstein Created Woman (1967). Perhaps his best and most sinister role was as the village butcher in the lesser-seen The Witches (1966).
